Jamboree 2015 - Meet the Speaker: Jill Morelli

Jill Morelli is a professional genealogist who has traced the family history of her Nordic and German families for over 30 years. She now lectures, writes and researches on topics of genealogical and historical interest and can be found at her blog  Genealogy Certification: A Personal Journey.

Jill has spoken to large and small groups throughout her professional life and is considered an engaging and knowledgeable speaker on topics related to methodologies, ethnic groups, research strategies, organization and record set research. She is presently the director of publications for the Seattle Genealogical Society and has self-published a number of her own family histories. An architect by vocation, she naturally is interested in the "genealogy of a place" and house histories. She attended SLIG in 2014 and 2015, and graduated from ProGen 19. Jill is "on the clock" by the idea of submitting on time is becoming more of a concept than a reality.
